Spokane, Washington

This is one of two milk bottles that were constructed in the Spokane area to advertise the Benewah Dairy Company. Built in 1935, the structure is built of stucco and sheet metal.

The Milk Bottle is a classic example of literalism in advertising.

Paul E. Newport, owner of the Benewah Dairy Company, had the bottle built to make dairy products more attractive to children.
